In terms of change.
I can’t even describe the feeling when everything you’ve ever desired—stuff you pushed aside or tucked to the back of your mind—just… BOOM! Appears. Instantly.
I won’t say I hope you experience it in your lifetime because, honestly, no one—AND I MEAN NO ONE—talks about the in-between: the space where change is coming but hasn’t fully arrived yet.
It’s everything, everywhere, all at once. Every single feeling you’re capable of floods your mind, body, and soul, and all you can do is be present and experience it. Good or bad, it will make its presence known. And yes, it can be uncomfortable at first.
But here’s the thing: change is meant to be fully embraced, not partially. The unknown is always either scary or exciting. And even when it feels uncomfortable… eventually, it feels like f*ck! finally!
When you start leaning into these transitions, rather than resisting them, life becomes so much lighter. You realize you’re going to be more than okay—because you’ve always been Divinely protected and favored.
Change isn’t something to fear. Observe it, please… Don’t react, especially if you’ve only always done that and are known to do that. Feel it, by yourself… No one will ever be able to feel what you feel, and that’s just the truth. And finally, Breathe. Consciously breathe, because you’ll forget to and neglect the fact that it’s a privilege.
I chose naming this post “Now or Never”—like my new tattoo—because it’s the theme of this next chapter. I know what never feels like: heavy, consuming, boring and mostly miserable. But now? Is exciting, present, life-giving! Also because it’s a lyric to a song by Tame Impala that was significant in my life 10 years ago and he just came out with a new song with that same line that just… sparked a lot for me.
So choose you. Unapologetically. Because no one else is going to do it for you.
It’s now or never.
(omg side note I watched this video LITERALLY before putting on ‘Happier Than Ever‘ as I’m writing this under the Lunar Eclipse today 🙂 very in sync. very present. and very aligned.
